Learn about what the Policy Group on Tradeswomen’s Issues (PGTI) is doing to increase guaranteed work for women on Boston building sites. Programs like Building Pathways, a six week apprenticeship training program is introducing women and minorities to the industry. In March the first ever Massachusetts Girls in Trades Conference brought together more than 400 female students who had an interest in the construction industry and Wentworth Institute of Technology is reaching out as well to young women by holding STEM events on campus.
